The houseboat in Sæby

A couple of years ago houseboats became a trend and were of great interest to architects. The houseboats were discussed in the media and indeed set the agenda of the Danish ports.

Moeskjær International joined one of the projects as the supplier of sandwich elements for a houseboat in Sæby – a port in the north of Jutland. The boat stood ready in 2004.

Since then the houseboat trend has faded a little, but the houseboat in Sæby still functions as a perfect home.
